ocaml-3.06


I am trying to make ocaml-3.06 but get make errors. First i ./configure then i make world then it halts after awhile through...

Error on dynamically loaded library: libtk8.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [labltktop] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/matrix/ocaml-3.07/otherlibs/labltk/lib'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/matrix/ocaml-3.07/otherlibs/labltk'
make: *** [otherlibraries] Error 2

durring the ./configure phase i got no errors.


when i whereis libtk8.4.so i get this...

libtk8.4: /usr/local/lib/libtk8.4.so

do i need to ./configure -libs /usr/local/lib/libtk8.4so?

Ok, i figured it out. I had to ./configure -tklibs -F/usr/local/lib/
