I am having Debian Etch and Fedora 7 on my pc.. wat drivers would be suitable for my video card (NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64 Pro) in order to bring out its 3D acceleration because the inbuilt drivers do not seem to work..
Due to this i cant use software like compiz, beryl and play 3d required games..

As has been said, you'll need the legacy drivers. However, you won't be able to run Compiz or Beryl on a TNT2, a GeForce 4 or better is required. I couldn't run compiz or beryl here until I upgraded to a GeForce FX 5200 (about $30 online) from the same card you're running. You might want to consider the upgrade, though some Linux 3D games will run fine on your card.
