I have my source code installed, it still wont compile when it says it needs to compile the whatever during installation. Ive also downloaded the rpms for the kernel module and GLX or whatever; the 2 rpm packages i supposedly need for the drivers to work. is there a different way to install theses drivers on fedora core 1?
1. Just today, NVidia realeased new drivers. Try those.
if you don't want to, then do this:
When I installed mine I used the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run file and ran it. But before you type ./NVIDIA..... you need to type
export CC=gcc32
Then run the file.
It should work after that.
