When I try to make a direct connection between two PC-s via null modem connection I receive a message : received bad configure-ack.
I use the commands:
pppd -detach crtscts lock local IP:remote IP /dev/ttyS0 38400 &
and the same on the remote mashine. The connection starts to establish and fails with those message about the bad configure-ack.Thank You!
What opertaing system are you using?
I assume it is c++ code what you are writing...and perhaps the best place to put this thread is under 'programming'
I was using Mandrake Linux 9.2 on the server machine and Mandrake 10.1 on the client. The problem was in 10.1.That`s an awful distro and after those day I gladly removed itThanks for the reply
