ns2.34 not installed properly


I am using the virtual machine VMWARE version 7.
In that RED HAT Linux version -5
What should i do in these case.

# yum install \
gcc-c++ compat-gcc-34-c++ automake autoconf libtool libX11-devel \
libXext-devel libXau-devel libXmu-devel xorg-x11-proto-devel


cd ns-allinone-2.34/ && ./install

Or : cd ns-allinone-2.34/ && export CC=gcc34 CXX=g++34 && ./install
