not properworking of keys


sir,

I have some problems in some of the keys of my keyboard .but it is not the hardware problem .because in windows its properly working .But in linux particulary, in command prompting it is not.The actual problem is when pressing del,inset,end keys it display ' ~' character and not its functions.i kindly request u to help me
