not installing fedora 8 on dell Vostro 200 desktop

Hi...
i am trying to install fedora 8 on my dell vostro desktop pc but it is unable to install ... try to install scsi drivers for may be sata hard drive and do nothing dont go ahead..
pl help me in this regard..

The installer hangs or what ?
When does it hangs...
