I have installed RHEL 5 on this system. I have also installed Real Player 11.0.1.1056 (Gold).The player opens, when i play a mp3 it shows the progress bar that it is playing the file. but no audio is heard either from the speakers or from the earphones. Please help me solve the issue.I would like to hear mp3 files using real player. how do i do it?

Did you check your Volume Controller. Chances are there that your speakers and head-phones are muted there. You can find the Volume controller on the top-left corner of the gnome screen.
