NoMachine NX client - shadow mode - different screen resolutions
Running the NoMachine NX client in "shadow mode" on a computer running at 1280x1024 and trying to view the desktop of a remote computer (server) running at 1920x1080
The remote screen is squashed down to fit into the clients dimensions, resulting in both horizontal and (slight) vertical compression. The result is unreadable/unuseable.
Is there a way to configure the client end to allow horizontal/vertical scrolling to see the entire remote desktop in its native resolution when in shadow mode? I can't find any way to accomplish this in the NoMachine documentation nor by playing around with the settings on the client end.
If I invoke the client end to create a new session (as opposed to a shadow session), then there is no problem, since I can set the desired resolution of the new session. But I would prefer a shadow session, so I can see what the remote user is doing and they can see what I'm doing. With a new session, we are both logged in to the same computer, but are independent of each other.
If the screen resolutions are flipped - i.e., the client is the one with the higher resolution screen than the server - no problem, you just see the remote servers desktop in a less than full sized window on the client.
Not that I believe it matters, but the client end is running Windows XP and the server end is running Linux (Xfce desktop).
Thanks in advance for any help.
