No sound in .ppt files with pptview or OOo 3.1 impress

Hallo:

I use OOo 3.1 and pptview for waching .ppt files. But I can't hear the sound.

Is there any way to hear the sound of .ppt files?

Thanks

What format are the sound files? I have found that .ppt files only play sound reliably in other programs if the audio is in .wav format.

I don't know the format.

What I see is that I receive .ppt presentations and I heard sound in Windows but not in Linux.

Regards
