No poweroff after kernel rebuild
Running RH 7.2 on an Asus A7V/Duron system. With the stock kernel a 'shutdown -h now' would poweroff the system after the shutdown was done. I built a new kernel using 2.4.17 sources. In the kernel config there is an option for apm, which is selected. However the system does not poweroff after a shutdown....
Don't really know what I should be looking for here... I've been through the kernel configuration a dozen times and can't see anything relevant.
I can reboot, select the old select kernel to boot (I have both kernel versions installed) and then 'shutdown -h now' *will* poweroff the system. It must be *something* in the kernel config!
Any help appreciated!
