no polish letters in kde


Hi
i've got a little problem with my debian. for two days i'm using kde. when i first launched kde i hadn't got polish letters just only squares. i've installed appropriate fonts. and polish letters appeared. but when i want to write sth in opennoffice, evoluition, kwrite etc. i only have anglish alphabet -no polish letters. i've made a directory and tried to name it using these letters and i couldn't. thanx for any help.

i think you need to put fonts in the xorg.conf file
