no loki
okay,
Maybe there is a post and I cant find it about this topic. But who is going to develop a Linux stage for games now that Loki is shut? |
There's a problem. Let's hope that other companies will start releasing Linux versions...
|
hm... i suppose the only thing going on now is with transgaming and winex i think... but that's like just some kind of layer over linux to play windows games i think...
|
i know!
yeah
I would love tok now how Loki did the cross over format. I I could I would love to get involved in it myself, but sadly, I only went over to Linux Mandrake about 3 days ago, and sufice to say i'm not exactly in any position to be trying that stuff out yet. I cant even get my scanenr working! But I hope that someone else comes along or that the large gaming companies start to release linux platforms on these games. because to be honest, I would really mind playing for the game, I mean the OS is free, after all, and with hte games your not really support bill and his band of merry robbers. |
It would be great if companies started doing linux versions of their games.
|
Maybe CodeWeavers will release a "Crossover Games" product like they have for "Crossover Office" and "Crossover Plugin".
We can only hope. BTW, does anyone know a way to play c&c renegade in linux? I've tried, but to no avail. C&c renegade and dreamweaver dev 4 are the only reasons I even have windows installed anymore. |
Loki's not shut down!
