No icons showing up on texmaker > 64 bit gentoo > qtabwidget

I recently emerged texmaker, which is a program that helps you write tex files. Whenever I run texmaker, The toolbar icons and symbol icons are not displayed. When I run it from the terminal, I get the message
Code:
 Object::connect: No such signal QTabWidget::currentChanged(QWidget*)
I couldn't really find anything by googling. I'm sure there's a problem with my QTabWidget, but I have no idea how to fix it. My system is 64 bit, by the way.
