No Icons in Nautilus

I Have Nautilus installed on a Debian Sarge / XFCE4 system. It works fine, but the icons are all the same (the empty sheet of paper). How can I change the icon theme without installing GNOME? Can I just edit a config file somewhere?

Thanks

UPDATE:
*** Never mind, I figured it out myself. If anyone's interested, here's how I did it.
go to /usr/share/icons/ and rename hicolor to hicolor.old. Then pick your theme. Generally GNOME. Rename it to hicolor. Wait a few seconds and you're good to go!***
