No enough disk space for openoffice2.0.1

I have downloaded the openoffice2.0.1 from www.openoffice.org and tried to install it. When I used "rpm -ivh *.rpm" to begin the installation, the system echoes a series claims as:

installing package openoffice.org-core04u-2.0.1-1 needs 7MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-core05u-2.0.1-1 needs 43MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-core09-2.0.1-1 needs 51MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-core10-2.0.1-1 needs 51MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-draw-2.0.1-1 needs 54MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-emailmerge-2.0.1-1 needs 54MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-gnome-integration-2.0.1-1 needs 54MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-graphicfilter-2.0.1-1 needs 55MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-impress-2.0.1-1 needs 59MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-javafilter-2.0.1-1 needs 59MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-math-2.0.1-1 needs 63MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-spellcheck-2.0.1-1 needs 63MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-testtool-2.0.1-1 needs 64MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-writer-2.0.1-1 needs 71MB on the / filesystem
installing package openoffice.org-xsltfilter-2.0.1-1 needs 71MB on the / filesystem

I have only 230MB on the / filesystem but more than 800MB on the /usr file system. So how can I install the openoffice?

I'm using FC3.

I just found a way to install the openoffice.

The openoffice is installed into "/opt" (under a subdiretory as "openoffice.org2.0") by default. Since I did not seperate an "/opt" partition, the remaining disk space in "/opt" depends on the remaining disk space in "/" partition. I have only 230MB on "/" file system so I do not have enough space to install the openoffice.

At first, I made a directory under "/usr" as "openoffice.org2.0". Then I created a symbolic link of "openoffice.org2.0" to "/opt". Now the "/opt" has a subdirectory as "openoffice.org2.0" and I was able to begin and complete the installation. The files are installed actually into "/usr/openoffice.org2.0" so the installation did not use the disk space under "/". It's great!
