No audio input with Mic, FC7+ALSA
I've messed with Linux in a server setting for FTP, HTML, and gaming servers but I haven't made the switch on my gaming PC until now. That said, I'm having problems getting my mic to work. I'm using the CA0106 card for audio, and with the same hardware configuration it works flawlessly in Windows.
I've toyed with settings to no avail, and tested with Skype and KRec. Code:
$ cat /proc/asound/cards Code:
$ cat /proc/asound/version Since the image is small and difficult to view, my settings are listed here. Code:
Card: CA0106 I tried to cover all information required to bug this problem, if I've forgotten anything please just throw it out and I'll get you the info. |

your sound card is very different from mine. anybody with a sound card like this can help this guy ? |
Thanks for the bump Dogg, I always feel dirty bumping my own posts. :)
I still haven't found a solution to this after tinkering for the past few days, I'd really love some help. I do a lot that requires skype and vent and it's a burden to have a laptop sitting there with Windows just to get it done. |
Shameless bump. I have tried searching the internet for hours without results. It's unfortunate but I have to consider reinstalling Crapdows because of this. Any help would be highly appreciated.
