No alsa sound script
 

Hi,

I've installed the new ALSA drivers version 0.9.1 for RH8 latest kernel (26.8.0 kernel)
But I appear to have no alsasound script in /etc/init.d, only alsactl is present.
I don't understand it, I used to have it before I upgraded to the latest kernel and latest alsa drivers/modules.
Why is it gone and how do I get it back?

I installed alsa thru apt-get (synaptic).. rpm based.

Help me, I want my sound back.
