NFS timeout on remove, but works locally.

Hello,

I have just setup my first NFS server, with /etc/export allowing my ip, and 127.0.0.1. I have mounted the NFS partition locally without any problem, but the connection times out when I try to mount the partition from my ip. I have tried taking down all firewalls and that is not changing anything. Is there anything I can look for that might be causing this?

Thanks,
Jameson

Try checking for errors on syslog, and maybe you can dump packets sent and received by client to see what's happening (wireshark/tshark)
