I have to know what tipe of module is my videocard...cause is not windows to know automaticly...how do I find the path where my video card modules is???
[io@localhost io]$ /sbin/modprobe
modprobe: Nothing to load ???
Specify at least a module or a wildcard like \*

Do "/sbin/modprobe -l" to get a list of all available modules.

I did that;-- found radeon driver in the latest kernel..But when i try the command ./modprobe radeonsb.o in the modprobe folder it don't find the driver and when i do it in the driver folder it don't find modprobe...Should i give path for bought....????

you only use ./ to run a program in the current directory, you want to do "modprobe <module-name>" or "/sbin/modprobe <module-name>"

modprobe: Can't locate module radeonfb.o
[root@localhost video]# ls
aty fbcon-hga.o hgafb.o neofb.o radeonfb.o sstfb.o
aty128fb.o fbcon-mfb.o matrox pm2fb.o riva tdfxfb.o
clgenfb.o fbgen.o mdacon.o pm3fb.o sis
[root@localhost video]# /sbin/modprobe radeonfb.0
modprobe: Can't locate module radeonfb.0

'modprobe radeonfb'' don't add the .o and good luck as I've been wrestling with radeonfb all day.
