always an error occurs when i install a new software. i don't have internet connection to my PC. as far as i serached. it says that i must upgrade my compiler. Can anyone help me on this case, without connecting to the internet.

Please supply more detail when asking a question like this. For example what version (distribution) of Linux are you using, what software are you using, the file format (eg .rpm , .deb , .tar.gx .... etc.)and the installation source (eg CD or DVD).

If you got messages about your compiler, then you have something that must be compiled.

Is there any way to get this computer connected to the internet? This will make things MUCH easier.
