Never-ending postscript loading

Hi

Can anyone suggest a reason why .ps files never seem to finish loading for me (this is using KGhostview, btw)? The first page loads OK (albeit very slowly), but the rest of the pages never appear. If I go forward a couple of pages, the egg timer just goes round and round while the first page is displayed. I've even tried leaving it for half an hour, and it still never finishes. This means that every time I get/make a .ps, I have to use ps2pdf to be able to view it.

My hardware is old (450mhz), but it shouldn't make such a difference, should it?

Best

Ian
