NetworkManager Question

Before anyone asks or comments, I know NM is a piece of crap -- I had a quick question about the newest release, NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.6.7 svn3370

Basically, in the system tray the NM status icon when you LMC the drop-down has a list of wireless networks it detects ... at the end of the ESSID is a ">" which indicates a further submenu. When you move to this submennu there is a listing of subfiles/actions named: auto-${ESSID} Does anyone know what these are, where they are in the filesystem, and the purpose...
