Network Measuring Tool

Hey guys!

I am looking for a tool that can measure the bandwidth of a network interface of my my computer and can output graphs....
something like "mrtg" but with the ability to measure with smaller interval time and not like "mrtg" that the shortest statistics that it can give you is for one day.

I want to have measures for some minutes with interval measure time of seconds.

cheers

The MRTG default interval is five minutes, but you can reduce that to whatever you like, just as long as the reply comes back in less than that.

While the default graph is for one day, mrtg also generates graphs per week, per month, and per year. I use cacti as a front-end, and I can zoom on the graphs so that I see the individual 5-minute data points almost a year ago.

You'll have a hard time finding a tool that is *not* based on MRTG.
