hi

does anybody know a realtime network link quality software that can be used to measure the JITTER , DATAGRAM LOSS and/or LATANCY. Since i want to test those parameters of my link at realtime the software should not be a emulator type. I tested with iperf( with UDP test ) wich gives all the above values for artificially generated traffic ( which i doesn't want). also i tested iftop,pktstat and tcptrack which only gives currnt bandwidth valus of the link but even not the time taken for data transaction.

I searched through the web but unable to find a suitable solution for that.

personally i tend to use mtr to watch for dodgy connections over a network path.
