netscape 7/java 1.3.1_06
 

I am running redhat 8 with netscape 7 and trying to install java 1.3.1_06. I have added the npx_plugin_path to my .profile but it still wont install.

What do I do now?

you should use "ln -s"
/usr/local/j2sdk1.3.1_06/jre/plugin/i386/netscape7/javaplugin_oji.so /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/

or something like that
