Hi all,
I'm setting up a university lab, with 25 linux machines. I've created 100 users on each machine in batch, and the aim is to give them all the same desktops and apps. I've created one dummy user and customized the desktop, copied the .kde folder into the other users home area's and hey presto, all users with same desktop and shortcuts!!!!
NOW !!! on my dummy user i've been into Netscape and setup my preferences (proxy, homepage, bookmarks). So i thought it would be a simple matter of copying the .mozilla folder around to all my users. However, it does'nt seem that way. When you first run netscape it creates you a profile, and under that profile creates you an unique folder containing your settings. This is different on every machine it seems. So.. my question is, what so i copy to every users home folder so that when running netscape for the first time, just picks up my settings??
It seems a logical thing to do, and we allready do it with our windows boxes. Anyone cracked this yet???
