Netflic-Desktop/Player troubles

I ran netflix-player.sh and it says that it has installed correctly. It appears to have installed right because it opens up firefox and directs me to netflix. The problem happens when I try to log in. It just sits there forever before saying server not found. I don't understand the connection timeout because I can navigate to other pages without problems.

I am running fedora 19 64 bit
just ask for any more info.

this is what you installed ?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/post...ar.gz/download
from sourceforge

mind you this is 32 bit ONLY so you will need the 32 bit compt code installed on fedora 64 bit

you did install wine
it is REQUIRED to run the Microsoft "silverlight" flash
that is needed for the draconian DRM

I have used both the rpm found <a href="http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/21847432/dir/fedora_19/com/netflix-desktop-0.2.2-1.fc19.noarch.rpm.html">HERE</a>, and followed the tutorial <a href="http://thelinuxsite.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/install-netflix-in-linux-mint-fedora-and-ubuntu-tutorial/">. Both of them end up giving me firefox running in wine. The problem is that, when I click submit at the login, the movies.netflix page never loads and eventually times out.

You might have to watch netflix on Windows7 in windows MediaPlayer
using the current Microsoft .NET-framework and the current Microsoft Silverlight

you do have mono installed into wine ( using "wine-tricks" ) or yum
mono is about 2 to 3 versions behind MS's .net framework
