Netbeans install fails with "cannot execute binary file"

I'm running jdk-6u30 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.1. When I try to install Netbeans it fails with a "cannot execute binary file". Permissions are set, I'm logged in a user but it still fails when I run the .sh file. Both stand-alone Netbeans package and one bundled with jdk-6u30 fail the same way.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Mark
