Netapplet?

Have any of you tried or installed a program called "Netapplet" for Linux? It is used to find WIFI networks but will also work with wired & PPP dial up connections too. It can store WEP keys and show secure or open networks in GUI format?
Just wondering if anyone has used this?
Found it in my latest edition of Linux Journal...

I loaded SUSE 9.2 over the weekend and it installs on that linux distro but how does it work? I opened a term and typed netapplet as root but nothing came up. I guess I will email Linux Journal and ask for more info. Have you learned anything new?

Once NetworkManager is installed on the system, it can be started by entering the following on a command line as root:

Code:
service NetworkManager start
I found that info from this URL...
