Nessus compile error

Hi
I am new to both RedHat Linux and Nessus.
Recently I tried to install nessus 2.0.3 on Red Hat Linux 8.0
Below is the error message I get when I run the make command in the nessus-core.

$ make
cd nessus && make

I already installed gtk+1.2.10 and gtk+-devel-1.2.10 but still no luck. Anybody can help??

Thanks a lot.

I got exactly the same problem. I also installed gtk+1.2.10 and gtk+-devel-1.2.25 . I met this problem when tried to "make" in nessus-core. I am running Redhat Linux 9.0 . How to fix it ?
Thanks in advance for helping me.

I had the same problem. When the configure script was run, something was messed up. In order to clear it and rerun, you will need to goto the nessus-core folder and run

make distclean
./configure
make
make install

Hope it works for you.
