Need to remove text in Gimp (brainfart in progress)
Hey all,
I've been using gimp for a while but it escapes me how I removed text or anything else from an image. I know it's a common thing in photoshop and I sort of did it once in gimp but I'm baffled how I did it now. I remember I took part of a picture and used it to merge over the text I wanted to remove (this being the date my digital camera put on the pic) but now I've forgotten how. Any help would be great, thanks all. - Muddy ps. a link to a site or a good in depth book recommendation would be fine too. |
The clone tool is probably what you're thinking of. Good for removing just about anything from an image!
