I have a Logitech QuickCam S7500. Or what camcorder to buy?
What software do I need to upload to places like 'ustream', chat rooms, etc.
The camera is reconized by 'Cheese', Pitivi, XrawTV, camorama.
I get images of me on the screen. I could go in the bathroom and do that.
It seems to be working

My bad, I led you astray. I want to be able to show people in Chicago, Calif, Fla, etc what is happening on the convention floor in real time. ( Not video on demand ).
You can use almost any camcorder if you hook it up to a TV capture card. Now getting one that lets you hide all of those icons on the output.... Or one that stays on if you're not using it to record.
HV30 is supposed to make a decent webcam. You need firewire and a decent computer though.
By show them, do you mean old style webcam stuff with 5 fps or lower? Or actual video at TV+ quality?
