need new X desktop.... I cant find what i am looking for

Ok, on the web a few months ago.. i found an x desktop that I now want. But i cannot find or remember the name of it.

The desktop was a CLI, that has x running. basically no resources are used at all.. until you launch an x app. Does anyone happen to know the name of it or something similiar??

I can not for the life of me find this.. i wish i wouldof downloaded it when i found it.. but I was not ready for a desktop like that. But now I am.

thanks
trey

instead of "exec ${windowmanager}" at the end of .xinitrc, you could "exec xterm"

yes. It just gives you a terminal instead of a window manager. You may find some KDE applications giving you trouble, but I'm not certain of that.
