Question need help with Drakx!!!

I am going to create my own Linux distribution.I know I need some useful tools.I find that Mandrake's Drakx is a great install tool.I've downloaded some drakx rpm source packages, but none of them can be successfully built!!!One kind of error message is that:

stuff.xs:858:incompatible type for argument 1 of 'rpmProblem String'

The process of "Make" stoped there.
Anybody help me!
Can you give some information about:a user guide for Drakx
that will make anyone able to create a distribution. That is, Adding and removing RPM packages. How the installer can be cutomized to include new features?Any usefully Websites?

Thanks!!!

Sorry to ask but have you been using the Linux From Scratch Guide? The LFS docs will help to get you own distro up and running. Obviously ignore this message if you are already using it!!

thanks,but

I have heard LFS,and even downloaded the whole LFS site!I have read their docs carefully, but the way LFS describs is to build a working Linux from an existing Linux system. It seems to copy some necessary files into a linux file architecture. But my goal is to build a CD that can install a linux system into a PC.It contains my own RPM programs.I don't think LFS can do much help, though the docs are very useful.Thank you for giving me advice!

Blimy you don't want to do too much!!

If you do get anywhere then I would be glad to hear from you. It sounds like a very good project.

My only other thoughts would be to contact MDK themselves if it is Drakx you want to know about.
