need help sitting up usb


i need help setting up usb flash drive on Ubuntu. my plan is to copy a operating system on to the flash drive. so i can use on another computer.can someone tell me in plain English how to do this.

Hi,

Have you looked at the instructions for Ubuntu's usb-creator program? Probably the simplest way to create a bootable USB drive.
