Need help installing Icon themes KDE 3.1

I got some themes from kde-look.org when I untar there just a set of folders with the icons in them, when I try to install through control center nomatter what I point it to it says not a valid icon theme, what am I supposed to do?

Hi.

Don't untar them. Just point the Icon manager to the compressed file, and KDE will do all the dirty work.

When I did that is says not a valid icon theme archive.... only me

Must be a badly packaged theme, or maybe a theme for an earlier KDE version. Happens all the time.

Ya, I downloaded like six more and 3 went in.

Thanks for this threat as I have been trying for the last 3 days to get this Icon theme installed with exactly the same problems. I thought it was my inexperience.
