Need Drivers for EPSON-LQ590
 

Hi All,

We have configured Epson LQ-590 DotMatrix printer on RHEL 5.5 , But it is not printing in Full page , it is printing left of the page that too not good format/alignment .Specially we need to print .pdf files . we have tried by priting a flat text file also , it is priting not good. we think we have not configured exact drivers for this . Can anyone suggest which driver to install . We are using CUPS .

Even we have tried by using preprocess with pdftops and pdf2ps but no help.

I tried by using above specified ppd . But still no help it is printing same .

Hi merajmca,

I also need to use the same printer.
How did you configure the LQ590 ?
Did you use same PPD given for 570+ in

Which driver did you use epson or omni ?

I just started in this field and really need your input..
