It says
Quote:
If you're running a Microsoft OS, you'll need to use the RAWRITE.EXE program, which is included in the distribution tree in the same directories as the floppy images
so you shouldn't be in C:\ but you must change to the directory where the rawrite program is (you didn't answer me if you have a CD or DVD drive).
If you don't, download it from here for example.

An ISO image is an image file of a CD. Use a CD program (Windows: Nero or similar ; Linux: k3b or similar) to create a CD from an ISO file.

If you install Slack from CD or DVD you don't need to create a boot disk.

After having burned the 3 Slackware-isos on CD, I would suggest to have a look here:

http://www.slackbook.org/

It is a really good guide on installing and configuring a slackware System and should help you getting started.

I started with slackware and 3 years later I am still using it, but it's one of the harder distros to get started on. I'm not recomending you don't use it, but just letting you know if you didn't already, you may want to try something else to start, but on the other hand, you will learn alot by using slackware too it just may be very frustrating at first.

Smile Thanx to all

Hi all
Thanx to everyone for thier presious suggestions Especially. Mr Uselpa for his continue assistance. And yes Mr kryptobs2000 yes i have seen Slackware is very different from other Distrobutions of Linux. But If a person is already familiar with linux envoirnment then it is less dificult for him.
Thanks again

Wishes for New year and Merry Christmas to you all in advance!!!
