Need an open source alternative to Visual Logic.

Visual Logic is required by my Programming Logic and design course but my instructor said if I can find a comparable (feature for feature) open source equivalent he may let me use it. Google is not helping me at the moment. Anyone can recommend an open source alternative for Visual Logic?

Huh...I get about 531,000+ hits for "linux visual logic". Things just like this page:

Yeah I saw that too.Let me clarify. The reason I'm asking here is because I want to find someone with experience with these types of applications to tell help me find a program that is matched feature for feature to Visual Logic.

I've tried stuff like "AgroUML vs. Visual Logic" and all I find are the home pages for each of these applications. AgroUML says something like "You'll be frustrated by AgroUML when you find that it can't do everything the proprietary UML applications can do" or something of that gist.

This is essentially an introduction class so some advanced features missing may be acceptable. So far AgroUML seems like the only plausible solution, and my instructor may not accept it depending on what it can't do.

I'm not entirely retarded, I am aware of how to use a search engine. It's just that the particular information I seek is best answered by someone with experience.
