Question Need a solution to FTP Proxy setup

Hello,
I can only connect to my remote FTP server using my home IP address for security reasons. This has never been a problem as I've only ever needed to access it from home. However now I need to access it from college with a few friends.
I want to setup an FTP Proxy on my Linux server at home. And relay connection from college to the FTP Proxy at home and onto the remote FTP server.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a FTP Proxy program for Linux that accepted external connections and then can forward them to an external location?

For security reasons I also would like to give my friends a different password then myself to log on to the FTP Proxy. Then depending on who was logging in, they could be directed to a specific directory on the webserver.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.
