Need a mysql gui for users

I am using Fedora 6 on a test machine that is running mysql 5.0 and I would like to implement a GUI that would allow users to enter data into the Database as opposed to using mysql syntax to enter data.

I have messed around with tools within the mysql gui suite like mysql-administration and mysql-query-browser, but these seem to be more for administrative purposes.

Is there a free, open source mysql product that would allow for this?

You are really asking for a custom application. This is why people hire programmers.

From what I remember of phpmyadmin, it would require the user's to use SQL cmds to enter new data, and they'd have to understand the table defs and relationships.
You need a programmer I think. There are frontends that try to make it easier (ESQL ?), but someone who understands the DB structure still has to customize it.

you may want to customize the phpmyadmin since you have your programmers, but it needs advance knowledge of mysql and general database behavior. as well as c language before you touch the source.
