need a list of partition tables on as many disks as possible

Hello everyone.

If you have a a minute, I need to compile a list of diffrent disk geometry and their partition tables. COuld you take a second and enter 2 commands in and post the output? I am writing a gui partitioner/installer and I don't have a lot of disks to test it on. I need a list of examples I can work from.

fdisk -l /dev/hdX
sfdisk -d /dev/hdaX

Also, if you could briefly explain where/how your partition table was created.

If you have a particular unique partion table, PLEASE post!

thanks for everyones support!

This laptop started out with one large hda1 and a swap. Resized it with the
gparted bootable CD and added CentOS. (It's a long story...)

Thanks again jimX86, so far it looks like my equation proves true, however, I wish I had received a bigger response. I am curious to see if windows/dos fdisk created the partition tables in the same way.

Oh well, at least there is one generous soul out there who cares enough to help out.

Thanks again jimX86!
