need a good open source shopping cart

ok, i've setup and already gotten acutely irritated with the agoracart shopping cart at my online storefront. it doesn't meet my criteria for configurability or documentation, so i need a new cart.

i've searched at freshmeat.net for shopping carts, and a whole bunch come up (49, i believe). does anyone have any particular recommendations? i'd like something that's pretty well-documented and preferably not perl-based (the code is too rife with funny characters to be easily read, as i experienced with agoracart).

i have agorapay as my payment processing gateway, so this might complicate matters, but any recommendations are welcome.

thx for reading

This is one of the best open source shopping carts around. I have deployed it for a local custom glass shop and they are expanding thanks to it. In my opinion, this is the best.
