Nautilus (or some other FM) to terminal window?

Hello,

One feature I use quite a bit in Windows is the ability to configure it such that when one right clicks on a directory in Windows Explorer he can choose to start a DOS prompt with it's current directory set to that directory. Is there any such way to accomplish this with Nautalis? If not can it be accomplished with some other File Manager under linux? Thanks!

I use Midnight Commander. It has shell prompt in the current directory from which you can execute commands. It's not quite the same as opening an xterm, but it is useful.
To see if you have it installed, run which mc
I actually seldon use FMs as I don't usuallly need to manipulate many files at a time.

Konqueror has that feature. Go to Tools -> Open terminal.

Or just use the shortcut: CNTRL-t

A shell will open up in the directory listed in the location bar.
