nautilus : no toolbar


using mdk 10.1 community- gnome 2.6

have no toolbar in nautilus
somebody has a idea to get it back ?

Try backing up the following hidden directories in your home directory and deleting them...

.gnome
.gnome-desktop
.gnome2
.gnome2_private
.gnome_private

Logout and log back in ..

Postback as to how it went..

dear linux friend
thank you for giving a suggestion - have tried it but unhappyly it doesn't work

one thing i omitted to tell : this problem occurs whatever the user (root ....)

find the GConf-editor

in my menu (FC2) it's in System Tools -> Configuration Editor
there under apps->nautilus->preferences tick the always_use_browser option
