Unhappy .nautilus & .gnome-desktop permission denied


Hi
I am getting error .nautilus & .gnome-desktop permission denied after logging in as normal user please anyone guide me.

What are the permissions for those directories. You can find them by doing
Code:
$ls -l .nautilus .gnome-desktop
If you don't own them, you will need to switch to root and do
Code:
#chown -r username .nautilus .gnome-desktop
