Nagios check_http -C - Certificate expiring date

Good day peeps,

I like some assistance from the experts on how to monitor Cert expiry from the check_http module on Nagios ?

Any tips on how to add the check, or some documentation to point me to ?

Well, Nagios offers it, possibly as part of their commercial offerings, but plenty of other people told you how to do it, five years ago.

Fundamentally, Nagios runs various filters and tests, and if you can dream-up a way for Nagios to perform the test it will periodically do anything you want. It comes with plenty of pre-built commands to do most things and also provides an easy way to write more. Nagios itself, then, is the infrastructure under which all of these things run, and by which they provide results to you in an organized way.
