MythTV split screen on playback

Ive always had issues with my Video Capture card and Myth but lately the recordings appear to be much better, but now there is a new issue. On playback the screen is split (ie the right 20% of the video is on the left half of the screen) If I manually watch the videos via mplayer the video is great. I have checked all the settings I can think might help, I have even upgraded to the latest myth version, no luck.

Any suggestions you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
The GNUbie
