mysql user table corruption
Hi all!
i have a problem. I was just playing around with the MySQL User table, trying to create a new user, change the password, etc. (i know that i shouldn't have!) Now, the table is corrupted and I dont know how to recover it. please tell me how to get back to normal again without re-installing MySQL [because I am using Fedora Core 5 and the 'add/remove software' application doesnt work :( ] thank you |
I don't remember the exact command, but if you delete the user database, then restart mysql it will re-create the default user database.
